Labor Relations Specialist
to join their HR team in a hybrid role based in downtown Chicago. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing union relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting a collaborative work environment. Labor Relations Specialist Responsibilities: Develop strong relationships across the organization and collaborate with leadership to manage labor relations functions effectively Address labor relations matters, including union grievances, conflict resolution, and collective bargaining negotiations Act as a liaison between the company and labor unions, ensuring open communication and fostering productive relationships Provide expert guidance on labor laws, union contracts, and workplace policies to ensure compliance and best practices Conduct investigations into labor-related disputes and recommend appropriate resolutions Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement and workplace effectiveness strategies Support leadership in change management initiatives related to labor agreements or organizational adjustments Partner with HR teams to ensure labor relations policies align with broader company goals Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred Proven experience in labor relations, including union negotiations and grievance handling Strong knowledge of labor laws and collective bargaining agreements Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with unions, employees, and management If you’re looking to make an impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, apply today!
