Overview
Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center has an excellent opportunity for a full-time board-eligible/board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Behavioral Health Department in Spokane, Washington. This position includes a mix of 0.8 FTE at BEST (a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program for children ages 7 to 12) and 0.2 FTE in ambulatory psychiatry consultation, collaborative care, and fellowship teaching/administrative time. Occasional cross-coverage for RISE adolescent (PHP/IOP for ages 13 to 18) and RISE adult programs and hospital-based adolescent and pediatric consultation psychiatry is needed. The department operates a General Psychiatry Residency and a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship and is part of a collaborative, growth-oriented team.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical coverage within BEST and cross-cover RISE services as needed.
Participate in ambulatory psychiatry consultation and collaborative care with pediatrics, and contribute to fellowship teaching and administrative activities.
Teach and supervise fellows, residents, and medical students.
Support program growth to expand access to under-served populations in urban and rural settings.
Engage in a collaborative, quality-improvement focused team environment.
Qualifications
Board-eligible or board-certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Compensation & Benefits
Schedule: Monday to Friday, five shifts per week (5-day block); weekend shift reimbursement is additional.
Relocation and sign-on bonus available.
New graduates and immigration applicants are welcome to apply.
Compensation range: $270,482 to $373,240 per year (may include incentives).
