Overview
Diagnostic Radiology Technologist - Ortho Riley at Indiana University Health. This full-time position is located at Riley's Orthopedic Clinic. The shift is 4-10 hour days, 7am–5pm, with Tuesdays off. Sign-on bonus available for those who qualify. Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the knowledge and skills to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric populations. Follow physician's instructions, prepare and operate equipment, and position patients correctly to record the requested diagnostic images. Treat patients with care and respect. Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography (RT(R)) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire. Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or current ISDH Radiology Student Permit. Requirements
Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when patient condition does not permit routine positioning. Additional Information
