Manager, LTL About the Role The Manager, LTL is responsible for negotiating with customers, managing customer relationships and contracts, optimizing shipping routes, monitoring shipment performance, resolving disputes and freight claims, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will represent TransLoop as the main point of contact. The definitive goals in this position are to build trust, leverage TransLoop’s technology, customer network and top talent to identify opportunities for new and continued partnerships with shippers nationwide. This position requires a well-organized self-starter and a strong sales mindset. We are on a mission to build the most elite sales team in the logistics industry and are always interested in bringing on top talent. This is a high-impact role for TransLoop. The success of this role will have a material impact on our business and the future growth of TransLoop. What You'll Do Establish and maintain strong relationships with LTL customers, negotiate contract terms, and manage service agreements to ensure optimal service and cost-effectiveness. Interpret LTL invoices, mitigate unnecessary costs, and implement strategies to improve the overall cost efficiency of the LTL freight process. Coordinate and execute LTL shipments, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of freight. Track key performance metrics, identify trends, and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency. Resolve freight claims, handle billing discrepancies, and address customer-related issues with a focus on quick and effective solutions. Work with internal teams and external clients to provide excellent service, support, and customized solutions for LTL needs. Ensure all LTL transportation activities comply with industry regulations and standards. Develop and execute LTL strategies aligned with broader company logistics and transportation objectives. What You'll Need 3+ years of experience in LTL sales with strong industry knowledge. Proven ability to negotiate contracts and resolve disputes to secure favorable terms with carriers. Ability to analyze data, interpret tariffs, and apply sound judgment to solve complex logistics challenges. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with carriers, customers, and internal teams. A strong commitment to providing high-quality customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain organized records and reports.
