McDonald’s growth strategy, Accelerating the Arches, encompasses all aspects of our business as the leading global omni-channel restaurant brand. Global Technology powers tomorrow’s feel-good moments and uses AI, robotics and emerging tech to digitize the Golden Arches. This role supports US technology deployment communications and internal US Market Tech communications for 13,600 U.S. Restaurants. Responsibilities
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and implement detailed communication strategies to foster alignment among internal and external collaborators, including owner/operators; develop narratives, messaging, and storytelling that reinforce the why behind transformation initiatives; support organizational rhythms and ensure transparency and consistency; build relationships with cross-functional teams to influence collaborators; lead end-to-end communication plans with initiative teams and cross-functional business partners. Change Management Expertise: Apply standard methodologies to ensure smooth adoption of transformation initiatives; identify and address barriers to change; act as a change agent promoting understanding and alignment across all levels of the organization. Team Orchestration: Lead a comprehensive campaign calendar; act as peer editor to ensure a unified voice; participate in technology governance meetings and partner with tech leaders on effective communication strategies. Qualifications
3+ years’ proven experience in business, communications, change management, or related areas. Outstanding written and verbal skills; ability to translate technical language for general business or executive audiences. Proven track record of creating successful, insight-based communications programs aligned with brand objectives. Experience with technology or major program deployment/change preferred. Structured and methodical, yet flexible to changing needs and innovation; comfortable translating complex technical language into understandable messages. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Office 365 / O365, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote); experience with Smartsheet and other digital tools is a plus. Compensation & Benefits
