Become an Associate Mapping Specialist at Medtronic, with a training pathway into our EP Mapping Specialist role. You\'ll provide technical, clinical and sales support, in collaboration with the sales team, within the region or assigned territory in support of the launch and adoption of the EP mapping and navigation system (Affera) and all products within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business. Cardiac Ablation Solutions offers cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. Western Territories Include (candidates are based out of one state): WA, OR, CA, MT, ID, WY, CO, UT, NV, AZ, NM, AK, HI, TX, OK. Provide technical, educational, clinical and sales support to assist the Region in meeting Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) sales and customer service objectives. We seek candidates who are patient-centric, collaborative, and representative of diverse life experiences. You will be expected to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts; a valid driver\'s license is essential. Travel is approximately 25% outside the territory. Responsibilities Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and CAS products. Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters related to CAS products and procedures. Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures. Understand and support regional sales objectives to achieve or exceed goals for all CAS products. Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business. Collaborate with Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities. Coordinate with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products. Communicate with regional sales and clinical teams. Serve as a Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding products, service and support. Act as a regional champion to share experience and promote proficiency in mapping technology. Note: The statements describe the general nature and level of work and are not exhaustive. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field by December 2025 or June 2026 Ability to work in the US without the need for current or future visa sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Graduation from Cardiac Prep program such as ATI and PrepMD Proven track record with technical training assignments Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support Additional Job Requirements Must have a valid driver\'s license and active vehicle insurance; driving record will be reviewed Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory daily and may travel outside the territory, including overnight Ability to move throughout the facility, use a computer, and interact with personnel Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day Travel approximately 25-50% within the territory and may require overnight trips Physical Job Requirements The above statements describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this position and are not exhaustive.
