Job Captain position in Santa Monica, CA with DFH Architects, LLP. The firm focuses on mixed-use/multifamily and adaptive reuse conversions from office to residential, with projects across Southern California including Los Angeles, Santa Monica, West Hollywood and San Diego. Responsibilities
Lead mixed-use/multifamily projects from concept through construction. Manage projects and work closely with partners from concept through construction. Communicate effectively with teammates and clients; be a strong team player with excellent communication skills. Develop and refine working drawings and construction documents; maintain a strong work ethic and proactive approach. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of professional architectural experience in multi-family residential projects. Professional degree in Architecture. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit required. Knowledge of SketchUp and Enscape is a plus. Knowledge of current Density Bonus laws and programs in Los Angeles, Santa Monica and San Diego is a plus. Interest in opportunities for growth and advancement within the office. Outstanding graphic and presentation skills; excellent verbal and written skills. Passion for architecture, in-depth knowledge of working drawings and construction. Strong work ethic, team player, self-motivated, proactive. U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status required. No work visa sponsorship please. No exceptions. Base Pay and Location
Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Location: Santa Monica, CA, US Benefits
Flexible schedule with reasonable hours and a firm culture focused on work/personal life balance. Permanent hybrid remote/in-office schedule; Monday - Wednesday in-office; Thursday - Friday remote.
