Overview
The Sr. Project Manager position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing resources and activities involved in the installation of commercial PV solar systems. A candidate must possess excellent customer service skills, strong technical and business acumen, and effective time management to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Sr. Project Manager collaborates with all departments, conducts project due diligence, plans and manages project scope and timelines, delivers projects within the approved budget, and manages change orders. Strong financial acumen is essential. Base pay range : $111,000.00/yr - $128,000.00/yr The expected starting pay range for this role is $111,000 - $128,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may vary based on factors including location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels. A comprehensive benefits package is provided. Responsibilities
Develops a detailed timeline for all projects and manages all aspects from kickoff to closeout, ensuring completion within scheduled timeframes and budgets. Performs regular site visits to monitor progress and ensures processes related to materials, safety, and job quality are followed. Manages customer communication to provide an excellent customer experience. Acts as the primary point of contact with the customer regarding project progress. Provides leadership and direction for Site Supervisors. Oversees subcontractors to meet agreed timeframes and quality standards. Provides timely project administrative information to meet Solect requirements. Supports project budgeting activities, including target construction cost, subcontractor buyouts, weekly budget meetings, and cost tracking. Qualifications
Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record. Willingness and ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work on rooftops; able to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and resolve issues quickly and effectively. Strong computer skills with knowledge of G Suite, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, project scheduling software, and OSHA 30 Certification. Ideally holds a bachelor’s degree and five years of project management experience in the solar or electrical field, managing multiple 100-500 kW DC commercial solar projects. Possesses or is willing to obtain NABCEP certification and MA CSL. Special Position Requirements
Will work on rooftops at varying heights and in different weather conditions. Must be willing and able to travel to job sites and walk client properties. Occasionally able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing ladders. Off-hour work (nights/weekends) may be necessary for outages and crane work.
