Overview

VP Consumer Product Propositions The Marketing team is responsible for growing the subscriber base of Dow Jones products globally, across The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, MarketWatch and Investor's Business Daily. Within the Marketing org, this role sits on the Subscription Strategy team. Our team sets plans and priorities for each line of business and the key strategic focus areas, and manages the subscription P&L to deliver on circulation volume and revenue targets. The VP, Consumer Product Propositions role will help to manage consumer bundling propositions for Dow Jones and external brands. You will identify customer needs and the larger business objectives for bundle propositions, then articulate and implement the vision across teams to successfully meet business targets. Reports to: SVP Marketing & Subscription Strategy You Will

Conduct market and audience assessments to identify customer needs. Develop plans to address customer needs through product propositions to help meet subscription volume and revenue targets. Create and socialize strategic plans for proposition development and go-to-market, including detailed functional requirements, project plans and KPIs. Work collaboratively within the subscriptions organization and cross-functionally with product, technology, legal, customer service, customer insights and finance. Manage the development of new bundle product propositions from ideation to launch. Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches, including positioning, messaging, and promotional strategies. Manage a team focused on the bundle business. Oversee the subscription budget targets for bundles in conjunction with the subscription strategy brand verticals. Qualifications

A bachelor's degree and 17+ years of experience working in brand management, product management and/or marketing. (Media or publishing experience is a plus.) Excellent communication skills to articulate a vision, negotiate with stakeholders and motivate others. Ability to develop strong relationships with multiple stakeholders and collaborate effectively with other teams across the business. Prior team leadership experience. Excellent project management to keep teams on a tight deadline and work across time zones. Ability to read and interpret data as it pertains to key metrics in order to inform decisions. Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: 140,000 - 450,000 Pay-for-performance is a key element in our strategy to attract, engage, and motivate talented people to do their best work.
