Onsite Security Clearance
DoD Clearance: Top Secret. Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date. What You Will Do
Design, develop, integrate, and test software on cross-functional agile teams to deliver solutions within budget, scope, and schedule constraints. Perform bidding and proposal activities to support the acquisition of new business. Make and influence decisions impacting cost, schedule, and technical performance at a team level. Develop high-quality software that is verifiable, maintainable, and readable. Perform multi-threaded software debugging and software integration. Support testing events, including simulation readiness reviews, dry runs, and customer demonstrations. Contribute to software and systems engineering requirements capture and analysis. Create and maintain technical documentation, including software design, test plans, and user guides. Travel to domestic and international customer sites to support training events and product installations. Qualifications
Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience; in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience. Active and transferable Top Secret Security Clearance or higher is required prior to start date. Skills
Proficiency with C++ and multi-threaded C# software applications. Experience interfacing with databases. Strong understanding of flight dynamics, aircraft systems, and avionics. Preferred/Valued Skills
Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) is highly desired. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Familiarity with Linux and Windows development environments. Leadership qualities and willingness to mentor peers. Experience using Visual Studio and VS Code. Familiarity with DevSecOps and Agile development methodologies. Experience with source control tools (SVN, GIT, ClearCase, etc.). Experience with ALM tools (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible, Bamboo). What We Offer
