Overview

Wastewater Project Engineer for the Greater Phoenix Area with wastewater experience required. Salary: $90,000 - $128,000 per year. The role involves designing, managing, and implementing wastewater treatment projects within a construction context, with emphasis on technical leadership, project management, and effective communication with clients and team members. Responsibilities

Coordination of the engineering & construction processes of wastewater treatment facilities and systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective and sustainable wastewater treatment solutions. Conduct feasibility studies for proposed projects, including cost estimates, resource allocation, and timeline projections. Apply knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and regulations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and completion. Prepare technical reports, specifications, and drawings for wastewater treatment systems and processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wastewater treatment systems. Stay informed about advancements in wastewater treatment technologies and processes to maintain the company\'s competitive edge. Promote safety standards and practices within the work environment. Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of experience in the design and management of wastewater treatment projects in the construction industry. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Proficiency in wastewater treatment processes such as activated sludge, anaerobic digestion, nutrient removal, disinfection, and solids handling. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to wastewater treatment. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar. Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills.
