Senior Software Engineer, OCI Media Services Base pay range: $79,800.00/yr - $178,100.00/yr Location options: Austin, Texas; Broomfield, Colorado; or Nashville, TN. Responsibilities
Cloud service design for availability, scalability, observability, and testability. Implementation, validation and documentation of services and their component microservices. Collaborate within the engineering team to deliver and operate cloud services that enable animation, film and game development studios to run their production workflows in the cloud. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and driving innovation. Launching new cloud services and establishing operational excellence. Work collaboratively to realize and achieve the technical vision of the team; engage with geographically distributed engineering teams. Ensure compliance with software development standards, processes, and best practices. Qualifications
BS/CS Computer Science or related field and 3+ years software development experience with modern programming languages. Large/enterprise scale software development and engineering experience, particularly with cloud services and distributed systems. Domain knowledge and experience with workflows and pipelines for media production; familiarity with digital asset management, 3D frameworks, universal scene description, scene graphs, layers and models, 3D data packaging, rendering workflows, image composition, and tools used in media production. Experience collaborating with geo-distributed teams. Training and experience in software implementation, code and design review, and root cause analysis. Designing for availability, observability, scalability, testability, and recoverability. Benefits
