Director, Insurance Solutions - Asset Management

We are looking for a Director, Insurance Solutions to join our Investment Solutions team. You will play a strategic role in designing and delivering bespoke investment solutions that address the complex and evolving needs of insurance clients. Responsibilities

Leverage deep insurance industry knowledge to translate client objectives into actionable, customized portfolio strategies with a focus on regulatory capital efficiency, asset-liability management (ALM), accounting standards, and optimized risk-return outcomes. Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop investment strategies that consider regulatory, capital, and liability obligations and aim to meet client objectives. Collaborate with Sales to manage and expand client relationships, serving as a strategic advisor and delivering high-impact client presentations. Provide expertise across asset allocation strategies, including fixed income, private assets, equities, alternatives, and structured derivatives; advise on implications of regulatory capital frameworks (e.g., Solvency II, NAIC, IFRS 17). Analyze market trends and regulatory changes to develop capital-efficient investment strategies. Represent the firm at industry conferences and through thought leadership to stay current on market trends and maintain external relationships. Work with the strategic advisory team to develop ALM and risk analytics tools and systems to support investment strategy development. Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree 10+ years of experience in investment management, insurance asset management, or a related field with a focus on institutional clients Deep expertise in evaluating insurance company financial statements in the context of developing investment strategies Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including RBC, US statutory standards, NAIC, IFRS 17, and BMA Strong command of capital adequacy, ALM, and solvency metrics (including Solvency II) Experience with capital markets, global economic trends, portfolio construction, risk modeling, and asset allocation frameworks Proven ability to design and implement complex, multi-asset investment solutions across public and private investments Experience in a client-facing, consultative role within a global, matrixed organization Skills That Will Help You Stand Out

Advanced qualifications (MBA, CFA, CAIA, or actuarial credentials such as ASA/FSA) Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging with C-suite executives and investment committees Analytical skills with the ability to deliver data-driven, creative solutions Self-motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative environment Proficiency in tools such as Bloomberg and insurance investment analytics platforms Familiarity with international regulatory regimes (e.g., Solvency II and related regulations) Salary Range Information

Salary ranges reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions may participate in a bonus program. Actual compensation will be based on location, experience, education, licensure, and skill level. Other Details
