Salary Grade: Grade 45
The Research Coordinator will implement inpatient and outpatient research protocols on human subjects for the Department of Surgery, manage data, resolve queries, and collect specimens inter-operatively while maintaining databases. The role also involves assisting investigators with the preparation of adverse event reports, data collection, and adherence to current regulatory guidelines. Occasional coverage of a 24-hour pager may be required on a floating schedule.
Responsibilities
Implement inpatient and outpatient research protocols on human subjects for the Department of Surgery.
Manage data, resolve data queries, and maintain databases.
Collect specimens inter-operatively as required.
Assist investigators with preparation of adverse event reports and data collection.
Adhere to current regulatory guidelines.
Provide coverage for a 24-hour pager on a floating schedule as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Master's degree preferred
1-3 years of experience
