Wilson Family YMCA is seeking a dedicated Aquatics Director to lead aquatics programs, lifeguards, and instructors. The role focuses on safety, high-quality experiences for swimmers of all ages, and developing engaging aquatic programming. Responsibilities
Oversee all aquatics programs and activities (swimming lessons, fitness classes, special events). Hire, train and lead a team of attendants, lifeguards, and swim instructors. Ensure safety is the #1 priority (lifeguard certifications, pool maintenance, and supervising pool activities). Develop new programs to keep members and the community engaged and active. Manage scheduling, budgeting, and facility upkeep. What You Will Bring
Lifeguard and CPR certifications. Experience managing an aquatic facility or swimming program. A passion for water safety and making swimming accessible for all. Strong leadership and communication skills. Perks And Benefits
