The Director of Risk Management is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of an environmental health and safety management system to ensure a safe, healthy workplace for employees and a safe, learning environment for students and visitors. Administers, plans, monitors and coordinates risk management activities, workers compensation, loss control and claims administration functions. Oversees emergency response programs and coordinates vendor insurance requirements and compliance. Responsibilities

Conduct site assessments, reviews and self-inspections. Analyze results, recommend corrective actions, communicate results and follow up until completion. Develop, implement, and maintain T5 policies and procedures ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Stay current with regulatory changes and serve as a contact with federal, state, and local regulatory bodies. Conduct and evaluate periodic safety, fire and hazardous condition inspections of facilities, equipment and work practices; recommend changes and coordinate implementation. Track and oversee Contractor-Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIPs). Interpret insurance coverages and communicate policy and procedure changes to users. Serve as a resource for risk management issues across all T5 activities. Design, direct and coordinate risk programs to control exposures and minimize loss. Manage the claim filing process for property and liability incidents. Prepare bid specifications and participate in the selection process. Review and update policies and procedures to include new legal requirements. Review and investigate accident/incident reports, compile findings and recommendations for corrective actions. Participate in shared governance as a task force member; provide technical knowledge on health and safety issues, plans and projects. Assist with the design and development of facilities and work procedures and ensure EHS requirements are implemented. Complete duties in compliance with T5 standards and guidelines; apply sound judgment in coordination with coworkers and customers. Complete required training and professional development sessions sponsored by T5 Data Centers. Support the values and institutional goals of T5 Data Centers; assist in developing outcomes and plans of action for improvement. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education And Experience

Five (5) years of experience in safety, industrial hygiene, hazardous waste operations, emergency response/incident management, safety administration, and/or general insurance administration. Risk Management Certification. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Competencies

Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental engineering principles and practices; federal, state, and local regulations and national standards (DOT, OSHA, HAZMAT, NFPA). Knowledge of safety systems, risk minimization, and insurance provisions. Ability to apply regulatory requirements to ensure compliance; maintain confidentiality of information. Proficiency with standard office software; strong written and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data; problem solving and leadership capabilities; comfort in a high-tech all-digital environment. Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl; lift up to 60 lbs.; reach, grasp, push/pull objects.
