The Marketing Innovations Team at Agoda identifies and develops new marketing channels with high growth potential. This department is data-driven and focused on developing at-scale marketing programs to ensure Agoda’s leadership in new and emerging channels. The team blends analysts, marketing strategists, and data scientists, with leadership that emphasizes data science, product, strategy, and other marketing fields. You will have opportunities to learn and grow by collaborating with experts from around the world. In this role, you’ll get to
Spearhead the development, execution, and optimization strategy for growing Agoda's new and emerging marketing channels Conduct end-to-end analysis of large, complex datasets related to channel performance, user behavior, and market trends, translating raw data into actionable insights Develop hypotheses, design experiments (e.g., A/B tests), and build structured analyses to rigorously evaluate campaign effectiveness and drive data-driven decisions for channel growth Partner with various business functions to identify opportunities, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data sets using techniques and tools such as SQL and Tableau Communicate complex findings, performance updates, and strategic recommendations clearly to stakeholders, including senior management What you’ll need to succeed
Extensive Experience: 3–5 years in a Data Analyst role or projects involving big data; preferably in tech, e-commerce, or digital marketing. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Math/Engineering or Economics and Finance is a plus Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills; proficient in SQL, Tableau, and MS Excel Innovative Problem-Solving: Ability to tackle complex challenges and adapt to evolving scenarios Strong Communication: Excellent writing and verbal skills with ability to create impactful presentations Stakeholder Management: Ability to influence and persuade at various levels, including senior management Nice to have
Experience in digital or social media marketing Experience in hypothesis testing, statistical analysis, and using Python/R for data manipulation Equal Opportunity
