This role could suit an experienced Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable professional looking to expand into broader accounting responsibilities, or an early-career accountant (1–2 years post-university) seeking to further develop their financial accounting skills. For the right candidate, study assistance may be provided to pursue or continue CPA or equivalent qualifications. Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. 2 years of Accounting/Finance experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Detail oriented, ability to demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills. CPA candidate is a plus. Experience with NetSuite, Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Avalara is a plus. High Level Role Objective

Support local SHI leadership and global SHI finance team in managing and monitoring core accounting activities. This includes (but is not limited to) areas outlined below: Perform monthly Bank reconciliations. Perform month end accounting activities, including accruals/ prepayments. Other general accounting tasks as required. Assist in maintaining Intercompany balances. Assist in the implementation of new initiatives by the global finance team as/when required. Produce the month end financial statements for review by the CFO including PNL/BS. Monitoring customer balances. Liaising with outstanding customers/ reps/ leadership team for collections. Ensuring credit limits are adhered to. Reporting to USA Leadership team / Global CFO. Resolve issues as/ when required. Invoices are received and entered. AP – Market testing of services as / when required. Supplier relationship management. Resolve issues as / when required. Ensure timesheets are received / accurate. Liaise with outsourced payroll provider to ensure pay runs are processed accurately. Prepare sales commission calculations. Onboard & offboard employees. Process sales tax returns through AvaTax. Liaise with outsourced income tax provider. Ad-hoc local assistance as required. Prepare and file 1099s. Liaise with outsourced external auditor for audit activities. Perform banking of cheques / cash deposits. Ad-hoc banking tasks as required. Weekly cash flow analysis. BUDGET PREP / ASSISTANCE:

Liaise with Leadership team in collation of Budget / variance analysis. Assist the CFO with USA budget development. Seniority level
