Investment Associate
— Seattle, WA ISC is excited to be partnering with a rapidly growing wealth advisory firm in Seattle to identify a skilled Investment Associate. This firm is dedicated to helping UHNW Individuals and Families through significant financial transitions, simplify complex wealth structures, and preserve their legacies. The organization combines tailored investment management with holistic planning, providing clarity and long-term value for clients and the causes they care about. This role offers the
opportunity to be a key member of the investment team , overseeing the daily mechanics of portfolio operations while also contributing to the development of scalable processes that support continued firm growth. The position involves close collaboration with professionals across advisory, client service, compliance, and operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy in every aspect of portfolio administration. Key Responsibilities
Carry out trades across custodians, including rebalancing, cash deployment, distributions, and tax-sensitive strategies. Keep track of daily account flows, ensuring sufficient liquidity and adherence to target allocations. Validate trade activity, reconcile cost basis records, and resolve mismatches quickly. Offer execution-related feedback on security selection, tax implications, and account-specific factors. Reporting & Data Oversight
Generate and distribute timely investment performance and attribution reports. Safeguard data accuracy across multiple technology platforms. Partner with operations to reconcile positions across custodians, managers, and internal systems. Suggest and implement improvements to streamline reporting and automate recurring processes. Private Investment Administration
Monitor capital calls, distributions, valuations, and exposures for private funds and other alternative assets. Ensure all private investment information is updated and accurate within reporting systems. Work in tandem with accounting and client service teams to process activity efficiently. Support investment due diligence by delivering precise data and analytical reporting. Manage client billing each quarter, ensuring invoices are accurate and deadlines are met. Assist compliance with audits, regulatory obligations, and internal control documentation. Collaboration & Committee Engagement
Coordinate with advisory and planning colleagues to execute client-related tasks seamlessly. Compile data and reports for client meetings and internal investment discussions. Contribute to the Investment Committee by preparing materials and following through on action items. Operational Improvements & Growth Enablement
Apply prior experience to strengthen operational processes and standards. Identify opportunities for new tools, efficiencies, and workflow redesigns. Play a role in scaling the investment operations function to meet the firm’s evolving needs. Qualifications
5–7 years of hands-on experience in portfolio operations, trading, reporting, or investment administration. Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or related discipline. Professional designations (CFA, or candidacy toward CFA) are beneficial. Strong familiarity with custodial trading systems and portfolio reporting platforms; background with tools such as Tamarac, Orion, Addepar, FactSet, Bloomberg, or Morningstar is a plus. Advanced Excel proficiency required; SQL, BI tools, or workflow automation experience is advantageous. Demonstrated accuracy in reconciliation, exception resolution, and data quality management.
