Graduate of nursing school. 1 Year clinical RN experience. California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association Pay and Schedule
Shift Start Time: 6:30 AM Shift End Time: 7:00 PM AWS Hours Requirement: 12/36 - 12 Hour Shift Weekend Requirements: Every Other On-Call Required: Yes Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum): $56.580 - $70.170 - $83.760 Relocation Incentive Eligibility
Eligibility for $5K relocation incentive for new hire / out-of-state candidates. Relocation incentive is for new hire / out-of-state candidates only. The following are not eligible for relocation incentives: Current Sharp employees; Rehires/Reinstates rejoining the organization within 12 months; In-state new hires. Clinical advancement: Use systematic planning, appropriate methods and timely exchange of information with multidisciplinary team and patient/family to coordinate care. Focus on and manage multiple patient needs and aspects of care. Actively communicates with care team to plan patient care. Utilize resources to problem-solve and determine the most effective course of action. Clinical judgment and decision making: Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking to provide patient care that is individualized, goal directed, and aligned with safety standards. Identify actual/potential problems, evaluate interventions, and adjust the plan as needs change. Collaborate with patient, family and team to develop a comprehensive plan of care. Document per guidelines. Provide guidance to staff on unit-specific documentation issues. Clinical leadership: Delegate/assign and communicate care delivery expectations; assess appropriateness of orders; supervise as needed; support coworkers; provide feedback; share unit information with students/float staff; seek process improvements. Nurse-patient/family relationship: Establish therapeutic relationships; advocate for patients; provide age-appropriate education; coordinate discharge planning; adapt interventions to diverse needs; support patient and family education materials. Independently perform the nursing process with complex patients; coordinate care; mentor others; ensure safe equipment use; recognize and manage complications; participate in quality improvement; comply with regulatory standards; demonstrate professional behavior and clinical teaching as appropriate.
