Located on-site in Boulder, CO, the DevOps Engineer/Principal DevOps Engineer supports rapid maturation and deployment of capability while maintaining a secure posture. The role designs, develops, automates, and maintains productivity tools using programming, database, or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development. It also designs and implements build procedures to support software product development, operates within Agile principles, and ensures Software Configuration Management (SCM), code quality, and code coverage with automated and manual testing for CI/CD pipelines. The position may train software developers in configuration management and software quality standards. Responsibilities

Apply configuration management methodologies to systems Support development teams throughout the software development lifecycle Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools to improve software development Drive innovation through continuous improvement of processes Ensure SCM, code quality, and code coverage with automated and manual testing for CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with software teams using Agile methodology Promote adoption of DevOps practices, especially through automation Document bugs and enhancements using Jira Enhance and sustain maintainability, security, and control of system software Basic Qualifications

This requisition may be filled at either a DevOps Engineer or a Principal DevOps Engineer level. DevOps Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline or Master’s degree in STEM with 0-2 years of related experience (as described in the posting) or equivalent Intermediate Linux OS experience Intermediate Python, Perl, or shell scripting Ability to work multiple tasks concurrently Comfortable working with software tools Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application and ability to start Principal DevOps Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of related experience, Master’s with 3 years, PhD with 0 years, or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree Intermediate Linux OS experience Intermediate Python, Perl, or shell scripting Ability to work multiple tasks concurrently Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application and ability to start Preferred Qualifications

Source control tool experience C++ experience Software development and troubleshooting in a team environment Legacy software and modernization experience Agile development experience Full software development lifecycle experience Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite, Jenkins, Git, Conan, or CMake Seniority level

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00; Secondary Level Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00. Salary varies by scope, responsibilities, experience, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply. Long Term Incentives may be available for certain roles. Additional information
