Provide assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient and family needs throughout the disease process as part of an interdisciplinary team. Collaborate with the attending supervising/collaborating physician(s) in accordance with state law, hospital policies, protocols, and clinical pathways; may provide autonomous team-based care. Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, review orders for diagnostic/therapeutic tests and radiologic results, prescribe chemotherapy, and formulate and manage treatment plans. Educate patients and families on care and available resources, including admission instructions, treatment plans, potential side effects, and discharge plans, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Provide psychosocial support to patients, families, and significant others in a caring, ethical, and professional manner. Opportunity to serve in the OR as a surgical assistant. Qualifications

EDUCATION Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
