Overview
Executive Director, Philanthropy role at Panda Restaurant Group. The position oversees the day-to-day operations of Panda Cares, Panda Charitable Family Foundation, and Panda Community Fund, providing leadership for daily operations, strategic direction, program development, operations, financial management, personnel management, and external/community relations. Job Responsibilities
Governance & Board Support: Advise and inform Board members, interface between Board, family members, and staff; arrange and attend Board and committee meetings/activities; prepare facilities and agendas; oversee materials development and board directive implementation; issue communications between meetings; review drafts of Board meeting minutes. Board Development & Communication: Support board continuity and leadership development within the Board and its committees; develop/oversee board engagement activities, especially among the next generation; produce family/foundation newsletters; manage other educational and communication vehicles. Financial Management & Reporting: Prepare and report the Foundation’s annual budget; ensure budgeting and accounting practices are adequate and cost effective; organize quarterly Finance Committee meetings; prepare materials for review including quarterly financial reports; communicate with the Foundation’s accountants and investment managers. Grant Management & Operations: Implement grantmaking policies and procedures with the Foundation Board; administer the grantmaking program with program staff; prepare written agendas, review grant proposals, conduct site visits, and take Foundation action as needed; evaluate funded programs, monitor grant progress, and report on funding effectiveness. Talent Management & Development: Develop and maintain a system to hire, train, mentor, manage, evaluate, and compensate staff, interns/volunteers, and consultants; foster growth and performance; conduct annual performance appraisals and present compensation recommendations to the Foundation Board. Public Relations: Maintain a high professional profile in philanthropy by participating in events, seminars, and conferences; attend briefings and meetings to stay informed about the non-profit/philanthropic sector; represent the Foundation at community and grantee events. Business Relations/Partnerships: Identify and access philanthropic resources; promote opportunities among Board, family, and staff; pursue partnerships and collaborations with other grant makers and nonprofit organizations as appropriate. Annual Report Design & Publication: Manage the preparation of the annual report, content on the website, and other communications and outreach activities. How We Reward You

Bachelor’s degree required Minimum twelve to fifteen years of experience in philanthropy or related field with increasing management responsibility Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position. Pay Range
