As our Family Practice Provider you\'ll be the guide, meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients in the health center, as well as prescribing medications, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments to support recovery, prevent future health issues and promote a healthier lifestyle. We maintain managed caseloads with 12-15 patients a day and no double bookings, allowing you to focus on each patient as an individual. Responsibilities
Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care to patients Provide health services such as initial workers\' compensation evaluation, occupational and pre-employment physicals and screenings Conduct histories and physical examinations, working with patients to develop treatment plans Prescribe and dispense medications, educate, and advise on medical issues as needed Serve as a supervising physician of mid-level practitioners, with specific duties detailed in a collaborative practice agreement Promote wellness educational programs Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure the security of patient information Schedule and Work Environment
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8a-5p, Wednesday 8a-6p and Friday 8a-4p (No Nights, Weekends or On Call). Health Center opening 9/25. Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited medical school Board Eligible Current and unrestricted Florida medical license Dispensing license (Florida) or willing to obtain one prior to start date if hired DEA license BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers Preferred Skills
Experience in primary or urgent care setting Perform GYN care and well-woman exams Benefits
