Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington. Performs duties of Nuclear Medicine PET-CT Technologist. Reviews all research protocols to determine if imaging/tumor measurements are part of the trial. Implements and tracks protocols and trains all Imaging technologists in translational protocols, as needed. Assists the on-site physicians in devising and refining new clinical procedures and collaborates with radiologists across all sections to maintain standardization in work flow and protocol development. Completes site survey forms with details such as equipment type, technologists contact information, on-site digital storage, data transfer preferences, and imaging protocol specifics. Assists in directing imaging support for clinical trials, including research at Fred Hutch, and participates in related cross-organizational meetings (e.g., CTI, HSRAC, site initiation visits). Assists UW/Fred Hutch physicians and research coordinators in trial design, statistical support, and analysis of results from clinical cancer imaging research. Maintains database for Fred Hutch research studies. Assists in obtaining phantom data or de-identified scans if required by the study sponsor. Coordinates the scheduling of research exams; organizes, plans, and directs activities relating to patients and procedures and coordinates with other areas as needed. Required Qualifications

Bachelor degree that provides eligibility to attain Nuclear Medicine certification or licensure. All requirements of Nuclear Medicine PET-CT Technologist. Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification (Nuclear Medicine). Meets one of the following: ARRT(N) or NMTCB registered or equivalent state license for nuclear medicine technology; or completion of a nuclear medicine training program with basic and medical sciences and practical experience. ARRT (CT) certification or NMTCB (CT) certification, or will acquire within 12 months of employment. Current BLS from American Heart Association (or equivalent) and renewal every two years. Three years of technologist experience, with one year of lead/supervisory experience. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of Nuclear Medicine and research study design and analysis. Ability to work well in a team and support group decisions. Demonstrates good customer relations skills and flexibility in schedules and assignments to meet departmental needs. Proficient in equipment and supplies management; focuses on cost-effective practices and productivity improvement. Willingness to seek feedback to improve processes and outcomes. Ability to adapt to unexpected changes in work volumes or staffing needs, including overtime, flexing, rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and call. Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Clinical Research. NMTCB (PET) Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification. CPI experience including LEAN or Six Sigma. Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is from $65.99 to $104.29 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance.
