Salary : 80,000 - 100,000 per year DOE

What Youll Do As Clinical Director, you’ll oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of Amethyst’s programs and provide direct supervision to our supervisors and therapists. You’ll also help shape clinical strategy, strengthen quality assurance, and collaborate with agency leadership to expand services and impact.
Your responsibilities
Providing clinical supervision to supervisors, therapists, and support staff
Managing program development, including protocols, service models, and training plans
Ensuring documentation, service delivery, and treatment plans meet ethical and regulatory standards
Conducting regular clinical team meetings, training sessions, and case reviews
Monitoring client care processes from intake to discharge
Leading performance evaluations and staff development planning
Supporting credentialing efforts and clinician recruitment
Participating in strategic planning, quality improvement, and grant-related initiatives
Collaborating with MCOs, referral sources, and community partners
Staying current on evidence-based practices and emerging trends in behavioral health
Who Were Looking For
Masters or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
Active NC clinical license (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or PsyD)
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong clinical and operational knowledge of behavioral health systems
Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills
Experience managing Medicaid billing, documentation standards, and regulatory compliance
Commitment to team development, inclusive leadership, and culturally responsive care
Ability to work in-office and in the community, with flexibility for some remote work
