15 Oct 2025 Eastern Daylight Time General Summary: The Director of LfC Administration & Operations provides day-to-day coordination for the Leading for Change and other leadership development programs and projects of the Early Education Leaders Institute. This position ensures the effectiveness, efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement of all operational aspects of the leadership development offerings, the Leadership Forum, and coordination with other alumni programming. They oversee all logistics of program implementation, including event planning and support for new contract start-up. The Director reports to the Executive Director and collaborates with the LfC team to ensure the successful execution of the Institute’s leadership program strategy. The Director maintains strong relationships with the project’s funders and partner organizations to meet all deliverables. Examples of Duties: Lead processes to set project goals, timelines, and resources; manage and maintain project workplans Ensure projects are implemented with high quality and in full compliance with contracts Demonstrate effective communication within and across teams to foster cohesion and a positive workplace culture Develop, coach, and retain high-performance team members; supervise program staff and contractors Provide support and coordination of relationships with project funders and partner organizations; track funder deliverables Collaborate with Early Education Leaders staff to share processes and ensure organizational cohesiveness Coordinate internal and external communications and marketing plans Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure timely, consistent programming Coordinate participant registration, waitlists, and scheduling Manage facilitator logistics, certification, scheduling, and related paperwork Coordinate certification processes for Facilitator Certification Program Ensure quality of course delivery by providing feedback to facilitators and sharing course evaluations Collaborate with facilitators to provide clear, timely communication to participants Distribute course materials with curriculum director/content developer Manage technology systems for course implementation (e.g. LMS, Drive) and provide technical assistance as needed Work with the evaluation team to align feedback with planning and service delivery Oversee alumni network programming, including Leadership Forum Coordinate purchasing of supplies and process reimbursements as needed Qualifications: Minimum 10 years’ experience in early education, leadership development, or related fields; nonprofit operations, alumni relations, communications, or project management Master’s degree in early childhood education, education, communications, nonprofit management, business administration, or related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with educators, staff, stakeholders, partners, and funders Excellent project management skills with ability to plan and execute events; proficiency with technology to support initiatives Experience supervising staff and supporting staff growth and development Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines Application Instructions: Please apply online with your resume, cover letter, and a list of three professional references.
