Overview
Department of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism | City of Hope National Medical Center City of Hope Medical Group Seeks an Endocrinologist to Join our Clinical Research Team. The Department of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism (DEM) is accepting applications from qualified physician scientists for faculty positions as Associate/Full Professor. We are seeking candidates with a strong background in basic, translational, or clinical research in diabetes or metabolism. Priority will be given to those candidates with a track record of extramural funding. The successful candidate will also become a member of the Diabetes and Metabolism Research Institute (DMRI), a comprehensive diabetes research center with more than 35 independent investigators. This faculty member will be given protective time for independent research and will compete for extramural funding. The selected faculty will be offered highly competitive start-up resources, laboratory space, and benefits. The research space will be located in the DMRI with access to the shared facilities and cores at the medical center, DMRI, and Beckman Research Institute. Effort allocation: 20-40% clinical / 60-80% research The selected faculty will be offered highly competitive start-up resources and laboratory space which will be located in the DMRI and will have access to the shared facilities and cores at the medical center and the Beckman Research Institute Total Compensation: $350K - $450K
(base pay commensurate with qualified academic rank) The salary range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits.
