Responsibilities

Team Supervision & Leadership Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants, AP/AR clerks, and other team members (Outside party) Assign tasks, review work for accuracy, and provide performance feedback. Foster a collaborative environment with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement. Accounting Operations Oversee daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger postings, and reconciliations. Ensure proper documentation and internal controls are followed for all financial transactions. Create journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness. Month-End / Year-End Close & Reporting Collaboration in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met. Support internal and external audit requirements, including coordination with auditors. Compliance & Controls Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory standards. Maintain and improve internal control procedures. Assist in developing accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and mitigate risk. Process Improvement & Systems Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance automation. Collaborate with IT/finance teams to optimize ERP and accounting software functionality. Support cross-functional initiatives related to finance, operations, and compliance. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or CMA preferred). 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls. Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite). Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Important: this person must have big 4 experience Competencies

From $100,000 to $125,000 per year Seniority level
