About The Role
The Healthcare Risk Management & Advisory (HRMA) practice is a high-performing team that works across both corporate engagements and litigation matters to deliver data-driven solutions to our clients. The healthcare industry is dynamic and complex, and the HRMA team delivers strategic, analytical, financial, data mining and operational expertise to help clients optimize performance, respond to challenges, and manage risk.
As a Director, you will partner with subject matter experts and work with a diverse set of clients as well as engage with economists, strategy and transformation consultants, technologists, and corporate finance professionals across the FTI organization.
Responsibilities
Deliver day-to-day data analytics services to clients, providing industry-specific analytics solutions through complex data-intensive analyses.
Understand relationships among multiple internal and external data sources, develop complex models, and navigate healthcare regulatory frameworks.
Manage project lifecycles, delegate to junior team members, maintain client relationships, and execute on statements of work.
Design and manage complex data models using external and internal client data to facilitate analysis.
Serve as a day-to-day client contact leader, coordinating with FTI team members, client personnel, and advisors.
Oversee creation of project documentation, visualizations, analyses, reports, and presentations.
Balance multiple client and internal priorities in a high-pressure environment.
Develop and adhere to project budgets and timelines; assist in project staffing decisions.
Coach and mentor junior team members.
Support business development, including proposals, collateral development, and identification of new service offerings; participate in client meetings and maintain professional relationships with current and prior clients.
Participate in and leverage FTI’s training opportunities to build skills and capabilities for clients.
What You'll Do
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5 years of relevant post-graduate experience
Experience delivering consulting services for Healthcare clients
Experience managing multiple workstreams/projects, delegating to junior team members, and managing client relationships
Experience using SQL and Python to collate, transform and analyze data
Support of Expert testifiers: report drafting, writing, document review, industry research
Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI
Experience collecting, aggregating and standardizing data through web scraping, PDF parsing, etc.
Proficiency with data science concepts including natural language processing, statistical analysis, regression, clustering and various algorithms or predictive models
Knowledge of data governance and data privacy best practices

Assisting the country’s largest healthcare providers and payers in responding to government investigations through deep subject matter expertise and complex data analysis.
Developing models and dashboards to analyze decades of transactional data from multiple sources to support counsel with strategic decisions in ongoing litigation.
Creating operational dashboards with defined KPIs to help executive teams track and manage performance.
