Crystal seeks a Seasonal Part-time Girls Soccer Varsity Assistant Coach. The Varsity Assistant Coach is responsible for the oversight of athletic training, strength and conditioning workouts, and providing technical support and training to athletes, as appropriate to the sport. Coaches have responsibilities not only to the students under their supervision, but also to the parents, the school, and the community. Key Responsibilities
Exhibits and mentors scholar-athletes in good sportsmanship and fair play Attends mandatory coaches’ meetings Monitors the conduct of scholar-athletes during practices and games Provides a safe environment for scholar-athletes by checking the playing area and equipment before each practice and game/competition Prevents injuries through thoughtful, balanced workouts Instructs scholar-athletes in the basic rules and fundamentals of the sport Assists in implementing training programs to develop athletes in the sport Upholds Crystal’s core values Fosters an equitable and inclusive team environment Key Competencies

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university One year of related experience preferred Valid CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (American Red Cross/American Heart Association) Soccer playing and coaching experience (2+ years preferred) General knowledge of best practices in interscholastic athletics and soccer Essential Functions
Provide a safe, equitable, and inclusive environment for athletes Lead or assist in implementing training programs Uphold Crystal’s core values Other responsibilities as needed to support student-athletes and the program Travel
Light travel between the MS and US campuses Travel to and from competitions in the Bay Area Work Environment
Dynamic environment with varying challenges and deadlines Outdoor work in diverse weather conditions Physical tasks including lifting and activities weighing 20-50 pounds Salary and Benefits
This is a seasonal, part-time position averaging approximately 15 hours per week. It is not eligible for benefits. The position is paid hourly at a rate of $22 per hour with a target pay of $4,500-$5,000 for the season. The season runs from November 3, 2025, through February 18, 2025, with potential postseason support beginning February 21 and extending beyond.
