A driven Biomedical Engineer with a passion for supporting healthcare technology in clinical environments. You bring engineering expertise to the lifecycle management of medical and dental devices, ensuring they remain safe, effective, and mission-ready. You’re analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to programs that directly support the health and readiness of service members. How You Will Make An Impact

In this role, you will provide engineering and lifecycle expertise to the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Your work will shape the planning, evaluation, procurement, and sustainment of medical and dental devices across treatment facilities. By analyzing performance data and advising on procurement decisions, you will help ensure that cutting-edge, FDA-approved medical imaging and clinical devices are acquired, maintained, and sustained effectively. Responsibilities

Support DHA with planning, evaluation, and sustainment of medical and dental devices. Provide engineering input on siting, testing, and procurement of new technologies. Review and evaluate Requests for Offers (RFOs) for medical devices, ensuring compliance and feasibility. Conduct data analysis on maintenance, usage, and lifecycle information for fixed facility hospitals. Develop and implement lifecycle maintenance strategies and compliance reports. Here’s What You Need

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field. 3+ years of experience in medical device lifecycle management. Familiarity with FDA-approved dental/medical imaging devices. Knowledge of the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and acquisition lifecycle. Must be a US Citizen Ability to travel onsite to treatment facilities up to 50% of the time Residency in the Washington, D.C. Metro area. Seniority level
