Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Test Engineer Co-op to join our Test Engineering Team at Abiomed located in Danvers, MA. This program runs from January 12, 2026 to June 26, 2026. Position Summary
This role will support our Test Engineering Team at Abiomed – a JnJ MedTech company. As a Test Engineer, the individual will conduct engineering tests, analyze and document test data, and design and implement test improvements and fixturing. The candidate will engage across multiple Abiomed product lines in support of patient-centric missions. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop engineering tests as well as document test protocols and reports Conduct engineering tests for product development and quality engineering projects Design and qualify engineering test fixtures Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, manufacturing, quality, and equipment design Minimum Requirements
Available January 12, 2026 – June 26, 2026 Student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline Strong testing, analytical, and engineering problem-solving skills Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and also collaborate cross-functionally Knowledge or experience with general engineering lab equipment (Instron, Keyence Microscope, 3D printer, multimeter, etc) Experience with SolidWorks preferred Permanently authorized to work in the U.S.; must not require sponsorship of an employment visa at the time of application or in the future. Students on CPT/OPT/STEM OPT may require sponsorship for long-term employment and must be eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship. Employment Details

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $23.00 per hour to $51.50 per hour. The pay is based on program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Intern/Co-ops may be eligible for Company benefits such as medical insurance, sick time, holiday pay, and retirement plan per applicable terms. Housing stipend may be offered for those who qualify.
