The Regional VP of Sales will lead sales efforts, drive revenue growth, and manage a high-performing sales team within the Dry Mix product category in the Western Region.

Job Summary The Regional VP of Sales will be responsible for leading sales leadership, driving revenue growth, and guiding a sales team within the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities include coaching sales managers, utilizing analytic tools, and ensuring cross-departmental communication. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success in sales leadership within manufacturing, with strong strategic and analytical skills and the ability to motivate a team.

Job Location This is a remote position with candidates based in the Denver, CO or Salt Lake City, UT markets.

Responsibilities

Analyze market trends and promote new business by exploring potential product users and industries.

Manage sales cost structure including staffing, marketing spend, and expenses.

Develop and implement strategic sales plans and objectives to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals within manufacturing.

Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Drive sales performance through goal setting, strategies, and metrics specific to manufacturing.

Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and trends to expand the customer base and increase revenue.

Manage strategic partnerships with adjacent products and vendors.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in manufacturing.

Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and keep the team competitive.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, operations, marketing) to align sales strategies with business objectives.

Develop and manage the sales budget, forecasts, and financial reporting; monitor budget vs. actuals.

Stay current with industry developments and best practices, recommending continuous improvement in the sales process.

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Management, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, or related field; MBA preferred.

Minimum 10+ years of progressive sales experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in sales leadership.

Prefer background in Building Products and/or Construction materials.

Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate a sales team in manufacturing.

Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Solid understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and tools within manufacturing.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented manufacturing environment.

Proficient in CRM software and sales productivity tools.

Ability to travel 50% of the time.

Compensation

$160K - $180k Base Salary

Vacation: three weeks per year
