290542 Summary:

Lead in the technical strategy development for the Office of Information Technology, providing support in the academic, research, and administrative arenas. Lead the development and delivery of strategic technology solutions that fit the business needs. Solve integration issues and synchronize technology frameworks across the institute. Oversee and coordinate the efforts of other technology-specific staff. Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Work closely with IT stakeholders to understand requirements and coordinate technology investments across the institute. Act as a trusted advisor to clients and partners, shaping and executing their business and transformation agendas. Participate in the information technology governance of the Institute. Responsibilities

Participate in strategic planning for campus-wide IT initiatives, including existing and emerging technologies. Initiate and coordinate IT projects within the institute. Initiate and coordinate IT projects with other universities. Build consensus for the information technology strategy at the Institute. Lead enhancements of enterprise computing services and information technology architecture to meet strategic goals. Lead or participate in efforts to ensure service availability, business continuity, security compliance, and audit requirements. Create strategic plans for how technology should be utilized to support the overall business strategy and create value. Conduct organizational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses and evaluate operational effectiveness. Make recommendations based on emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, and internal process improvement. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Required Qualifications:

Must possess or be able to obtain state of Georgia license within one year. Required Experience:

Five to seven years of job-related experience. Preferred Qualifications

Leadership skills, including working with diverse groups to gain consensus; leadership in IT services and support units; professional staff management; negotiating complex contracts. Master’s Degree (preferred). ServiceNow expertise: ServiceNow Solutions Architect (CTA/CMA) preferred; experience across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, GRC/IRM, CMDB, HAM, SAM; strong knowledge of the ServiceNow Common Services Data Model (CSDM); ability to mentor team members. Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Salary information: Budget $142,500; offer based on experience. Job Details
