Overview
This is a contract position with hourly rate with a hybrid presence required for 3 days a week in McLean, VA. We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Solutions Architect to design, develop, and optimize cloud-based solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems leveraging AWS services. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, product, and business stakeholders to deliver well-architected solutions aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities
Design and implement AWS-based solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to drive cloud adoption and modernization. Define architecture patterns and best practices for AWS deployments. Guide infrastructure-as-code development (CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK). Provide architectural oversight and ensure alignment with cloud strategy and standards. Recommend suitable AWS services to meet business and technical needs. Lead and support the migration of applications and data to AWS. Prepare technical documentation, diagrams, and presentations. Serve as a technical advisor and mentor for cloud-related initiatives across teams. Seniority
