If so, we are excited to speak with you about a Director, Business Development role in Fidelity’s Institutional Client Group (ICG) organization. ICG is the institutional distribution arm of Fidelity’s Asset Management business with responsibility for managing investment relationships with Fortune 500 and large public sector clients. The role involves acquiring proprietary and public information on Corporate and Tax-Exempt plan sponsors, analyzing data to prioritize Sales opportunities, and developing action plans to engage clients, prospects and external consultants. These activities require investment and financial acumen, attention to detail, strategic thinking, and collaboration across a demanding but collaborative culture. Expertise And Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA or consulting experience a plus Minimum 7 years of related product and industry experience – Fidelity experience desirable FINRA Series 7 and 63 required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit investment expertise Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to gain insight from data analyses Ability to communicate complex information effectively, both verbally and in writing Desire to work effectively across a collaborative and inclusive culture Responsibilities
The primary goal of the Business Development Role is to help drive AUM growth across assigned market segments. In this role you will support an experienced Sales team that works with both existing clients and new prospects to sell Fidelity’s investment capabilities. The Business Development role will be considered a feeder pool to future Sales positions. Core responsibilities include: Harvesting and analyzing data from proprietary and public information sources to identify high-conviction Sales opportunities Building strategic relationships and establishing Sales strategy sessions with internal business partners Managing Sales opportunities through their lifecycle in Salesforce CRM Presenting non-standard investment requests before Business Acceptance Committees for approval Providing updates on Sales goals, campaign efforts, and key focus areas for senior management and internal audiences Note: Fidelity is not providing immigration sponsorship for this position The Team
