Safety: Maintain a safe work environment by prioritizing safety; ensure pump islands, lot, and store areas are clean; conduct monthly safety meetings/trainings with the Safety Team; report incidents and investigate root causes; prepare required reports on time. Leadership and Personnel Management: Train, develop, and evaluate employees; recruit and select qualified applicants; ensure ongoing training; motivate and recognize employees; address performance issues with progressive discipline; set and evaluate performance expectations; develop potential employees for promotion; enforce company policies. Customer Service and Site Relationships: Provide prompt, courteous service; operate POS system and handle cash procedures; build relationships with customers, vendors, and contractors; manage cash, inventory, and store cleanliness; promote loyalty programs and ensure a safe, welcoming store environment; solicit feedback and resolve complaints promptly. Business and Financial Management: Plan store activities to maximize profit; monitor fuel sales, pricing, and product mix; maintain store layout and displays; execute promotions; manage inventory and staffing within budget; control expenses and prepare daily sales reports; safeguard money and organize site files. Facilities Management: Maintain appearance standards, report issues, ensure equipment is safe and clean; ensure proper signage is posted. Physical Demands: Stand/walk during shift; vision requirements; ability to follow safety procedures; manual handling tasks and occasional lifting; ability to climb a ladder and operate equipment; potential exposure to gas fumes and solvents. Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
At least 21 years of age or older; legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship. Additional Qualifications Include: High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelors in business, management, marketing, or related field preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Minimum 1 year store manager or assistant store manager experience Minimum 2 years convenience store or retail experience preferred Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office Benefits
