We are looking for a seasoned VP of Business Development for Healthcare Providers and Health Systems with at least 15 years of experience to lead Trase’s commercial and operational efforts within hospitals, health systems, and provider networks. This leadership role reports directly to the CEO and collaborates with the Chief Product Officer, VP of Operations, Red Cell’s Chief Growth Officer, and President of Healthcare Practice. The ideal candidate will have a hybrid background in commercial growth and product strategy, strong technology understanding, and deep familiarity with the healthcare provider landscape, particularly as it relates to opportunities for deploying agentic AI solutions to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. This individual will combine mission-first thinking with market awareness and customer obsession to drive adoption of Trase’s agentic AI platform across the healthcare provider sector. They will help identify challenges in healthcare delivery, shape the product roadmap, and scale customer acquisition in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments. Primary Responsibilities
P&L Ownership:
As the Healthcare General Manager, you will drive the overall business strategy, financial performance, and operational execution of your business unit, lead cross-functional teams to achieve revenue growth, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction, and be accountable for all aspects of the P&L. Demand Generation & Customer Acquisition:
Leverage your network and architect multi-channel campaigns that generate high-quality leads and drive top-of-funnel growth of healthcare provider organizations. Pipeline Management:
Own revenue growth targets within the Healthcare Provider segment and ensure marketing efforts translate into a robust, qualified sales pipeline. Collaborate with Product to develop marketing collateral, nurture leads, develop account-based strategies, and identify upsell opportunities to land and expand with agentic applications for healthcare. Customer Lifecycle Optimization:
Enhance onboarding, activation, and retention initiatives to maximize Customer Lifetime Value and minimize churn, including iterating on design partnership strategies to convert customers from unpaid to paid contracts. Reporting and Data Management:
Collaborate with Operations to build a solid data foundation to accelerate Trase’s sales motion and inform decision making. Product Strategy:
Participate in product discovery and roadmap planning; ensure healthcare provider feedback is integrated into the product development cycle to deliver capabilities aligned with objectives. Product Specifications & Features:
Define detailed specifications with Product, Design, and Engineering to support agentic AI workflows and stay at the forefront of the healthcare market. 100% employer paid, comprehensive health care including medical, dental, and vision for you and your family. Base salary of $200,000-$240,000 plus commission. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience, skills, and other factors.
