Forge is seeking a forward-looking, execution-driven leader to accelerate its AI transformation across product, platform, and internal operations. As

VP, Enterprise AI Strategy & Engineering , you will be responsible for embedding artificial intelligence across Forge's ecosystem to drive measurable gains in productivity, decision-making, automation, and innovation. This role requires equal parts technical acumen, strategic vision, and change leadership. Location:

Hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days per week in our San Francisco, CA office. Responsibilities

Strategic AI Leadership

Translate Forge's AI vision into an actionable, scalable strategy across products, engineering, operations, and internal tooling. Define and prioritize high-impact AI use cases that drive value across customer experience, operational efficiency, and platform intelligence. Align AI initiatives with enterprise OKRs, collaborating with business, product, and engineering leadership.

AI Engineering Execution

Lead the design and development of Forge's AI and ML infrastructure, from experimentation to production deployment. Guide technical architecture decisions across AI-powered search, personalization, NLP, code generation, and intelligent automation. Partner with product and data teams to ship AI-powered features such as conversational agents, automated publishing, predictive analytics, and investment intelligence tools.

Enterprise Enablement & Cross-Functional Impact

Collaborate with IT, HR, Marketing, Legal, and Risk to embed AI into enterprise workflows, using frameworks like the Gen AI Infusion Wheel. Partner with HR and L&D to lead AI fluency initiatives that train and empower Forge's workforce to become AI contributors. Serve as a change agent, championing AI adoption across functions and fostering a culture of experimentation, responsibility, and innovation.

Governance & Ethics

Define and uphold ethical AI use and compliance standards. Work with legal and compliance stakeholders to ensure governance of data, models, and third-party tools. Evaluate and approve AI vendors, models, and platforms in line with Forge's risk posture.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

10+ years in engineering, product, or AI leadership roles, with experience scaling AI systems in fintech, enterprise, or SaaS environments. Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies and how they apply to financial services, brokerage, custody, or investment platforms. Track record of implementing enterprise AI at scale, including experimentation platforms, internal tooling, or customer-facing AI features. Demonstrated success in cross-functional transformation, bringing technical and business teams around shared AI objectives. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field. Physical requirements: operate a computer for 8 hours per day; able to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written form. Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with modern AI/ML platforms (OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Vertex AI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.). Familiarity with embedding AI into internal systems: recruitment, IT, documentation, marketing workflows, legal workflows. Experience in regulated environments, data governance, and AI compliance. Strong storytelling, influence, and executive presence to engage technical and business leaders alike. Compensation & Benefits

For residents of San Francisco, CA the annual salary range for this role is $300,000 - $350,000 + annual bonus. Final offers may vary based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors.
