About the Role
We are seeking Software Development Engineers to join our Video Platform team. This team is responsible for building and maintaining the systems that ensure that Twitch can deliver the best possible video experience to Viewers and Creators. You will be part of a larger team of Software Developers and partner with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers and other engineering teams from across the business.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain the services that power Twitch’s video platform Mentor and develop other engineers on the Video Platform team and other teams at Twitch Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Program Managers and other engineering teams at Twitch Contribute positively to Twitch’s engineering culture

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of professional software development or equivalent expertise B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent years of experience Experience building backend services at scale with technologies such as Golang and AWS
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with video delivery concepts and systems Familiarity with AWS’ Interactive Video Service Familiarity with Twitch, gaming, and/or streaming on Twitch
