Job Overview
HARDSTOP ARRT WITH CT IS REQUIRED, REDIRECT IF THEY DO NOT HOLD REQUIRED CERT. DO NOT SCREEN. MUST HAVE ARRT CT LICENSE IN HAND PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL TO CLIENT. General CT imaging supporting outpatients and outpatients in a certified comprehensive stroke center hospital with 234 beds. Preferred experience with MAKO protocols, CTA Coronary, and general interventional procedures. Scanners: Philips Big Bore 16 and Brilliance 64. Special Equipment: Philips. Responsibilities
General CT imaging duties supporting outpatients and a certified comprehensive stroke center hospital with 234 beds. Imaging using CT modalities and CTA/Coronary CTA; interventional procedures support (e.g., MAKO protocols). Perform and assist with a range of CT procedures and related interventional imaging as required by unit protocols. Qualifications
AR R T with CT certification required; ARRT CT license in hand prior to submittal to client. Minimum experience: 1 year in a clinical setting; Trauma Level I/II experience preferred; travel experience required: Yes. Certifications: ARRT R, ARRT with CT, BLS, CRT (certifications marked with * are preferred). Skills: Image Display and Post Processing; 3D rendering (MIP, surface shading, volume rendering); MRP; ROI; various abdominal, pelvic, colorectal, enterography, intravenous pyelogram, pelvic studies with/without contrast; brain perfusion; colonography/virtual colonography; radiation safety; IV start and venipuncture; PACS proficiency; Radiology isolation precautions. Professional knowledge: Preparation/administration of contrast media; radiation safety; starting peripheral IVs; venipuncture. Work Settings
