Overview

Sr. Director, Site Supply Chain & Logistics is responsible for all supply chain functions at the Bothell Cell Therapy manufacturing facility (CAR-T Therapies) and reports to the Site Head. The role oversees a team managing patient supply, production planning, material planning, materials management, inventory control, product tracking, import/export permits, shipping/receiving, and cold chain logistics for cell therapies manufactured at the Bothell commercial and clinical site. The position contributes to establishing strategic direction for the facility in alignment with corporate objectives, including transitioning the site to commercial operations and launching new products. It is accountable for the site's long-term strategy and vision, assessing demand and usage across operating functions, and collaborating with the Global Supply Chain network for capacity and demand while providing site-level insights. It also includes overseeing employee development, maintaining workplace culture, and ensuring efficiency of the site's supply chain organization.

Responsibilities

Lead the Supply Chain & Logistics team at the Bothell site, including warehouse operations, production planning & scheduling, material management, and ERP systems.

Ensure material availability to meet patient schedules, proactively manage risks, and maintain on-time, in-full delivery.

Support and influence network capacity planning to align network needs with site capabilities and ensure clinical and commercial readiness.

Hire, mentor, and develop team members; champion teamwork and strong cross-functional relationships.

Maintain a safety-focused culture and ensure compliance with cGMP requirements.

Establish continuous improvement and a right-first-time mindset.

Provide initial and ongoing training for department personnel and adapt as needed.

Build positive working relationships across the network and influence executive management to resolve issues at local and network levels.

Represent the site in global forums to shape policy, drive standardization, and influence strategic supply chain decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or graduate degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; Masters or MBA preferred.

15+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, science and technology, manufacturing systems, and/or quality assurance.

5+ years in a senior management position.

5+ years in Supply Chain with experience in production planning, materials procurement, and/or SAP/ERP systems.

Intermediate knowledge of cGMP regulations.

Cross-functional and network experience.

Skills & Abilities

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; strong presentation skills.

Ability to present data and analyses clearly and concisely.

Ability to solve complex supply and demand problems and work cross-functionally with strong business partnerships.

Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), supply planning, materials management, and GMP compliance.

Track record of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Demonstrated leadership to make difficult decisions, engage and influence across a matrixed organization, and coach/mentor staff.

Financial acumen and exposure to budgeting and financial management.

Experience with S&OP and S&OE processes and materials requirements planning.

Travel Some travel required for site visits and team building across the network.

Working Conditions & On-site Requirement This position requires 100% on-site presence. Site-essential vs. hybrid/work model guidance applies based on role designations. The company provides reasonable accommodations in line with applicable laws.

Compensation & Benefits Bothell - WA - US: $240,750 - $291,727. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available. Final compensation is based on experience and applicable factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life and disability insurance, EAP, paid time off, holidays, and other programs described on the careers site.
