WSP in the U.S. This Opportunity: WSP is seeking a Managing Director, Project Development to join our Advisory and Planning department. Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a diverse team of consultants, provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities; foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project development lifecycle; meet and exceed client expectations. Project Oversight: Oversee the implementation of consulting projects across domains, ensuring effective execution and adherence to best practices; monitor progress and address issues. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the consulting practice; identify new opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends; manage financials and risks. Innovation and Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and leverage specialized knowledge to solve complex problems and enhance capabilities. P&L Management: Manage the Profit and Loss for the consulting practice, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and sustainability. Technical Expertise and Industry Knowledge: Apply deep understanding of due diligence, procurement strategy, alternative delivery methods, energy and social infrastructure, water projects, civil rights, governance, and demand modeling and forecasting to provide strategic guidance and ensure regulatory compliance. Consulting Services Provided by Project Development Team

Due Diligence: Investor advisory due diligence, independent engineering reviews, and performance reviews. Procurement Strategy: Advise on procurement processes to select teams for alternative delivery projects. Third Party and Project Governance: Develop governance frameworks to align partners, manage risks, and enable accountable decision-making. Energy and Social Infrastructure Alternative Delivery: Provide expertise in delivering energy and social infrastructure projects using alternative delivery methods. Water Alternative Delivery: Deliver water projects using alternative methods with guidance throughout the lifecycle. Civil Rights Services: Ensure compliance with civil rights regulations and promote equity and inclusion. Demand Modeling and Forecasting: Develop demand models and forecasts to support planning and decision-making. Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Urban or Transportation Planning, Data Sciences, Environmental Studies, Liberal Arts, Public Policy, Operations Research, Engineering, or closely related discipline. Graduate degree in relevant field (J.D., M.B.A., Ph.D). Advanced proficiency and proven experience in due diligence, procurement strategy, alternative delivery methods, and/or civil rights. 15+ years of relevant post-education experience in discipline and in a leadership, management consulting, or client advisory capacity. Strong leadership and team management skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships; strategic thinker with ability to develop and implement plans. Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to WSP’s health, safety, and harassment policies. Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Supervisory/management experience on major infrastructure projects; knowledge of P3 and other alternative project delivery methods. Compensation and Benefits

WSP Benefits and Compensation: Compensation range varies by location. Expected Salary (all locations): $290,100-$325,350. Colorado: $290,100-$325,350. WSP USA reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range and to offer additional benefits based on circumstances not related to protected status.
