Responsibilities
Lead internal investigations into potential violations of law, policy, and ethical standards, including employment issues and anti-bribery / anti-corruption (FCPA) matters. Conduct risk assessments and develop actionable strategies to mitigate compliance, regulatory, and reputational risk. Build, implement, and enhance the ethics & compliance program — including policy management, training, third-party due diligence, hotline administration, and reporting to senior leadership. Provide practical legal advice and guidance on regulatory and compliance matters to business leaders, HR, and operations teams. Oversee responses to regulatory inquiries, disclosures, and enforcement actions where required. Partner with key stakeholders to integrate compliance practices into business processes and decision-making. Monitor emerging legal, regulatory, and enforcement trends, and recommend proactive updates to compliance strategies. Qualifications
7+ years of experience in ethics & compliance, investigations, or regulatory enforcement (law firm, in-house, or government agency). Expertise in FCPA, anti-corruption programs, employment investigations, and third-party risk management. Active license to practice law in the U.S. and in good standing. Prior experience engaging with DOJ, SEC, or other enforcement agencies a plus. Compensation, Benefits & Location
This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $150,000. Starting salary will be determined based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, geographic location. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
