Project Architect with 3-5 years of experience in high-end custom residential design. In this role, you’ll report to the Project Manager and work closely with the Founding Principal and Principal. This role is responsible for translating design concepts into detailed architectural drawings and coordinating with consultants and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained through all phases of a project. This is an ideal position for a motivated and detail-oriented architect with strong technical skills, a refined design sensibility, and a passion for modern single-family residential design. Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day design and development of construction documents and specifications. Coordinate with project consultants to integrate their systems into the architectural design. Lead project meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants. Delegate tasks and manage workload distribution among project team members. Manage client expectations regarding design, budget, and deliverables on a timely basis. Further develop detailed architectural drawings. Present prepared documentation at public hearings. Finalize for approval all material selections and product specifications. Perform construction administration tasks including attending and documenting site visits. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

In-depth knowledge and understanding of architectural design principles, spatial relationships, aesthetics, and functional requirements for various building types. Knowledge of local, national building codes, zoning regulations, and standards related to residential architecture and construction to ensure compliance with designs. Strong understanding of construction detailing, material assemblies, and sustainable design strategies. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and quality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, design-driven environment. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify design challenges and evaluate alternatives that balance aesthetics, functional and technical requirements. Effective project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Well established, collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and colleagues. Education And Experience

Bachelors or Masters degree in architecture required from NAAB-accredited program. Current architectural registration in the United States, preferred. Minimum 3-5 years related professional experience, preferably with a focus on custom high-end single-family residential projects. Proficiency in architectural design software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite. Proficiency with productivity software: Microsoft Office and Bluebeam. Proficiency with management software: Monograph and Procore. Benefits
