Senior Solution Architect, Nonprofit Healthcare at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Do you have a passion for Healthcare? Are you excited about helping not-for-profit (NP) Healthcare providers and Academic Medical Centers (AMCs) implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems to enhance the experience of patients and clinicians? Do you have a knack for helping groups understand application architectures and integration approaches, and the consultative and leadership skills to launch a project on a trajectory to success? Are you familiar with security best practices for applications, servers, and networks? Do you want to be part of the business development team helping to establish AWS as a leading technology platform and play a technical role within a sales-oriented environment? AWS is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Solutions Architect to help accelerate our growing business as part of the World Wide Public Sector practice. Your responsibilities include owning the technical engagement and success around implementation projects, defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, developing deep expertise in AWS technologies, and serving as a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services. Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to customers while collaborating with a world-class sales and business development team. Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solution architect community. Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to determine and implement application architectures on AWS. Own the technical engagement and ensure success of specific implementation projects. Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad understanding of how applications and services are constructed on the AWS platform. Required Basic Qualifications
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries. 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics. 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures. Prior experience in Healthcare industry. Experience with one or more of the following: EHR Systems; FHIR/HL7; PACS; HIPAA/Hitrust. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a technical role within a sales organization. Cloud technology certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud DevOps Engineering). Experience working with Electronic Health Records, Medical Imaging, or Data Migration. About the Team
