Banking Associate - Manchester, NH (Bay Street) Work Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States of America Hours: 40 per week Job Description: The Banking Associate is a professional in banking, plays a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. This role is accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals. Performs a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services. Delivers end-to-end advice by building trust with educational content, providing consultative support, and offering proactive insights and recommendations. Engages with Customers using TD's systems and tools to acquire and deepen relationships through advice and guidance aimed at attracting and retaining customers. Understands customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote products/services and refer to the appropriate team member, ensuring a positive customer experience. Completes everyday banking transactions on the teller line or platform while educating customers on products and referring to the appropriate expert when needed. Provides services on the teller line and platform, including opening/closing personal deposit accounts, everyday transactions, debit/credit card issues, mobile and online banking. Manages lead generation and customer outreach, including self-generated leads, partner referrals, outbound calls, and appointment setting to deepen customer relationships. Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity (volunteering, education, or military experience may apply) Demonstrated customer service skills preferred Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Teller experience preferred and completion of Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire Strong organizational skills for fast-paced environments Excellent communication skills; concise, clear, and consistent Problem-solving skills and ability to schedule and prioritize work Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; sound judgment in decision making Proficient in Microsoft Office; notary license preferred Accountabilities
Customer Accountabilities Provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD products Establish and nurture customer relationships through product knowledge and active listening Manage wait times and appointment scheduling with customers Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries and resolution or referrals Support TD's customer service strategy and compliance requirements Drive referrals to store colleagues and partners to meet broader financial needs Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and training; follow audit and regulatory requirements Adhere to TD Code of Conduct Shareholder Accountabilities Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act in operational activities Process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests Open/close and service accounts, issue/reorder cards, update addresses Maintain required controls and accurate documentation; apply customer authentication principles Handle cash drawers with appropriate controls and security Follow open/close procedures and required procedures for customer authentication Employee/Team Accountabilities Contribute to a positive work environment aligned to TD model, brand and culture Participate in performance and development activities; act as a brand champion Collaborate with team members and others to improve delivery of work with high quality standards Take ownership of career development and seek feedback Embrace change and participate in TD's Shared Commitments Model quality service in every customer interaction; promote inclusion and diversity May train and mentor newer colleagues Physical Requirements
