Your role
As a Senior Manager in our Technology practice, you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate and analyze business models, processes, and operations. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure that newly implemented technology solutions meet these requirements. You will collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver effective system architecture solutions.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage and deliver complex processes and solutions with a focus on quality and risk management. Your responsibilities include:
Leading large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams. Supervising the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) solutions, including Sales Order Management, ATP, Shipping, Credit Management, Pricing, Billing, and more.
Overseeing program/project management and ensuring engagement economics are met.
Developing resource plans and budgets for complex engagements.
Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and strong business acumen in Order-to-Cash and related domains within Supply Chain, Finance and Procurement.
Staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client’s business (e.g., S/4HANA with Rise, BTP clean core, SAP AI scenarios) and assimilating new knowledge.
Understanding the impact of master data and hierarchies on the OTC process and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver holistic solutions.
Delivering quality client services, monitoring progress, managing risk, and informing stakeholders about progress and outcomes.
Leading client workshops and meetings to collect and understand user stories and establishing relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
Leading and inspiring diverse teams through feedback, coaching, and mentoring; generating new business opportunities; and assessing ways to serve clients.
Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships and networks across EY practices.
Encouraging professional development through training, workshops, and career advancement opportunities.
Skills and attributes for success
To thrive, you will need a blend of technical and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and deliver results. You will translate needs into business solutions, architect solutions, blueprint, test, and document solutions, and configure/integrate SAP and non-SAP systems.
Strong technical skills in application functional design and requirements definition.
Ability to analyze and map technology cost-benefit scenarios.
Expertise in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
Qualifications
To qualify for the role, you must have:
Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
Typically 5–7 years of relevant experience.
At least eight years of experience in SAP Order-to-Cash, deep SD experience in SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC, with ability to design, solution, configure, implement, and document WRICEF objects.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
Proven ability to lead client relationships and internal teams with strong project management experience (e.g., SAP Activate) and a track record in delivering SAP projects.
Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, and industry-specific finance and technology functions.
Experience in training design and delivery.
Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and new technologies.
Willingness to travel up to 40–60%.
Preferred
Experience in leading teams and managing change; prior consulting experience; SAP certifications.
