Senior Paid Social Media Manager – Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid) This San Francisco-based company is a developer and wholesaler of beauty brands and products, operating within a global luxury ecosystem. Known for creativity and cutting-edge product innovation, the team supports major retail partners and direct-to-consumer channels, developing original brands, collaborations, and acquisitions that push the boundaries of beauty and storytelling. The Sr. Paid Social Media Manager will lead paid social advertising across multiple brands with a focus on scalable, revenue-driving, and customer acquisition strategies. This role requires a blend of deep platform expertise, performance optimization skills, and a strong eye for creative storytelling.
Responsibilities Channel Management & Optimization
Oversee paid social campaigns in partnership with the agency across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat.
Collaborate with cross-functional marketing and digital teams to develop and execute integrated campaigns.
Lead ongoing testing, learning, and optimization of strategies.
Drive creative strategy tailored to platform best practices, working closely with creative, copy, and brand marketing teams.
Build and refine target audience strategies aligned with broader customer journeys and CRM efforts.
Maintain agency communication and execution.
Build strong relationships with platform partners to leverage new tools and opportunities.
Analyze KPIs (ROAS, CAC, LTV, etc.) to continually optimize performance.
Bring innovation to the team by identifying and testing new paid social / media opportunities.
Budget & Invoicing
Manage and optimize paid social budgets.
Ensure timely tracking and processing of invoices.
Reporting & Forecasting
Create performance reports and dashboards focused on KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, and LTV.
Share trends, insights, and learnings with internal teams and leadership.
Forecast revenue and KPIs for key campaigns.
Miscellaneous
Stay on top of paid social trends and share relevant updates across teams.
Promote a test-and-learn culture within the broader digital strategy group.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in paid social / digital marketing, ideally in beauty, fashion, or consumer goods with DTC or retail channels.
Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform ad managers, tagging solutions).
Agency management experience; in-house execution experience a plus.
Blend of analytical and creative thinking; customer- and brand-focused.
Strong creative briefing and process development skills.
Excellent data reporting skills; ability to distill insights into executive-friendly formats.
Experience juggling multiple brands or business units is a plus.
Organized and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments.
BA / BS degree or equivalent experience.
Salary & Benefits Salary Range
: Up to $155K per year dependent on experience
